How I Work…

…looking at the whole person mind, body & soul

My name is Liz and I'm a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor accredited / registered with the UKCP.

Psychotherapeutic Counselling is different from traditional counselling as it concentrates on the client and therapist in the counselling relationship.  This means that the client is looked at as a whole person (mind, body and soul).

During my years of counselling I have worked with men and women  in many areas, gaining knowledge and experience in abuse (domestic abuse, substance abuse, survivors of child sex abuse), depression, low self esteem  and anxiety.

I offer counselling, using an integrative method, from age 16 years plus, individualising the counselling to suit each unique person.  During this process it helps the client to gain self confidence helping to make different decisions in life, leaving behind unhelpful patterns of behaviour, increasing low self esteem.

I work with couples and individuals, for short or long term timeframes, EAP referrals, and offer supervision to counsellors.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I can also be found on Facebook and the Counselling Directory.
